What better way to enjoy oysters than freshly shucked and paired with wine?
To kick off this experience, complimentary canapés will be served upon your arrival, followed by a demonstration session by Chef Michael on how to shuck an oyster, you will have hands-on experience opening a variety of premium jet fresh French oysters. You will learn how to hold an oyster with a tea towel, twist the oyster knife at the base of the hinge to prise the hinge open and remove the top shell. Each of the participants will shuck 10 French oysters from 5 of the season’s best origins. Opening oyster is a snap once you get the hang of it!
After the oysters have been shucked, you can sit down for a dinner party to enjoy your fresh oysters with wine pairing, along with a French seafood Bouillabaisse prepared by the chef.
After this experience, you will be able to confidently shuck oysters. What’s more, you will also go home with your own oyster knife so you can enjoy fresh oysters anytime!
