Experience the beauty and uniqueness of Cloisonne while immersing yourself in traditional Chinese art history. Our workshop offers a fascinating and engaging way to learn about this exquisite art form.
The workshop begins with a professional tutor introducing you to Cloisonne and showcasing some of the stunning completed pieces. As you enjoy a welcome drink prepared by the center, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the art and its history.
Next, you'll begin sketching a draft of the pattern you want for your wooden coaster. If you're having trouble deciding, templates are available for you to reference. Once you've completed your design, the tutor will help you transfer it onto the coaster, guiding you as you outline it with wire and glue.
With the outline complete, you'll get to choose your favorite color(s) from our selection of 10 Cloisonne glittering colors. Then, our instructor will mix the Cloisonne color and apply it to the coaster. Finally, the instructor will epoxy the coaster, completing the piece.
This workshop is suitable for everyone, with simple patterns available for beginners to reference and create their own Cloisonne with no sweat. All materials are included in the fee, but you can also pay an additional $150 to top up and paint with a canvas.
Don't miss this opportunity to add a beautifully crafted and historically significant piece of art to your home decor.
