Make Your Own Moss Terrarium

Everyone needs a bit of green in their life. Why not put your green thumb to work and create a moss terrarium – a mini garden of your very own to brighten up the home or office!

In this 2-hour experience, come with a friend or more for an afternoon of miniature gardening! On the day, each participant will be given an approximately 10 cm x 10 cm glass sphere to assemble their own moss terrarium. Each of you will be provided with fresh moss, plant, and succulents to create a lush green landscape of your own design, as well as mini figurines, pebbles and more to add a touch of whimsy to the scene!

Your instructor will be on hand to provide guidance on landscaping your mini garden and tips on how to care for your creation.

Once finished, take your moss terrarium home and watch it flourish. Treat it to some water now and then, and you’ll have a piece of nature with you for a lifetime!

Number of People
This Experience Voucher is valid for up to 2 people in a private session.

There may be other people working on their artworks in the studio.

Additional participants may join at an additional cost of $280 per person, up to a maximum of 20 people.

This experience lasts for 2 hours.

Bookings can be made from Monday to Sunday 12.45pm - 8.30pm.

Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Extra Information
This Experience includes:

• All tools and materials, including: pumice, dried grass, soil, moss, plant and 5 standard figurines.
  Types of plants and figurines depends on seasonal availability.
• An approximately 10cm x 10cm glass globe per participant
• A water bottle with nozzle to take home and water your moss
• A box to take your terrarium home safely

Different shapes and sizes of glass globes and more figurines can be purchased in the studio on your Experience day, and are subject to availability.

Q: Are moss terrariums difficult to upkeep?
A: Not at all, moss is very hardy! Just place it in a nice shaded corner and give it a spritz of water once in a while. Your instructor will advise you on how to upkeep your terrarium on the day.
