In this Private African Cooking Class, you’ll chase back thousands of years to the roots of African cuisine ranging from the Tibesti Mountains to the Swahili Coast. Get hands-on experience cooking different African cuisines and enjoy a fun African dining experience!
In this experience, you will learn about the diverse and flavourful cuisines that you can find across the continent of Africa. We have 7 types of African cuisines for you to choose from, ranging from Ethiopian and Somali in East Africa, to Nigerian and Cameroonian in West Africa, to Zimbabwe in Southern Africa and African-inspired Jamaican and Afro-Japanese cuisine! You will learn some traditional African cooking techniques and make three African dishes with your cooking partner!

You will taste your dishes throughout the class along with an African tea. Meanwhile, the instructor will happily share stories of African cuisine history and dining culture. With cheerful African music in the background, you will have a great time cooking and immersing yourself in African dining culture!
You will be given recipes to take home so that you can cook the dishes you learnt in the future! Make sure to let your friends and family taste the delicious dishes you make and share the happiness together!
You can also join an optional mini dance workshop and an African drumming workshop for free! Get ready to have fun experiencing these traditional African cultures!
