This workshop will let you to have a first taste of the ancient art of ceramics by using hand building. By shaping colored clay into molds, you can make pottery in any shape you want!
Let your imagination flow and create your own pottery on the throwing machine! In this 2.5 hours experience, you will first get a pottery demonstration from your instructor to give you some inspiration. Each participant will then be stationed at one turning table each to get your hands dirty and to make your own ceramic masterpieces! You will have 2.5kg of clay to experiment with. You will be challenged to centre your clay on the throwing machine and shape it into a cup, bowl, vase or whatever you fancy! You will be able to make around 3 to 4 items during the experience. Once you have completed your creations, choose one piece for further completion!
For your chosen best piece, you will be able to add coloring and the final touches. Firing and glazing procedures will be left for pottery professionals to complete for you! At the end of the workshop, enjoy a 20 minute sharing with the other participants to appreciate each other’s work. Your final pottery creation will be finished within 1 month.

Experience was great, instructors were good. The only drawback was that the studio was very money-oriented, extra-payment was required for firing the pottery when it slightly exceed the 1L limit which the fee of that was supposed to be included in the fee already.
Really enjoyed this session. Great experience and really unique. Helpful great staff and the real deal, getting on a pottery wheel and playing in clay. Thank you Alan who runs the show. Though mostly run in Cantonese, little English, it's visual so you can still enjoy the experience.
We won the Pottery experience for two at a dinner. It was pitched perfectly for beginners. We enjoyed learning the basics and came away with a bowl to remember the morning!

The only downside is the location. It's quite far and difficult to reach. I hope there will be a closer location to Central or TST
The actual experience was very good and we both really enjoyed it! Some instruction and demonstration was given and we were given a lot of time to experiment. We have been advised that our products will be delivered to us within a month.
One element that could be improved was the communication. Having arrived at the building on a Sunday, it was apparent that the main building was closed. I tried to contact the phone number on the invitation and 'Spoilt' but neither answered my calls. We spoke to a security guard who directed us through the car park.
Enjoyable morning out - friendly and knowledgeable instructor and a good supply of raw materials. Only slight improvement could be a bit more teaching from the instructor given we were both beginners.
I think as an introductory class, the time arrangement and content is fruitful enough! I and my hubby enjoyed so much!

Very good experience. Instructor was very patient and spoke good English despite the description saying Cantonese only. Very clean environment and friendly staff. At no point were we rushed and the instructor kept coming back to check up on us despite other patrons in the workshop.
