Make Your Own Ceramics

Are you ready to get your hands dirty and create your own ceramic masterpiece?

This 2-hour ceramic foodware workshop will open your door to the amazing pottery world. Our experienced instructor will show you the basics of pottery. You can choose from making a hand-building textured mug and saucer set with stoneware clay or challenging yourself with a wheel-throwing machine and making functional foodware.

The real fun begins with getting your hands dirty! You will work on your own clay with the guidance and assistance of our instructor. You may even learn how to decorate and personalize your pottery such as engraving your name on the pottery to make it more special. The instructors will be on hand to offer advice and help troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Finally, once you have completed your artwork, you may choose ONE piece to be fired and glazed. Firing is an important step in the process that transforms the soft, pliable clay into a durable and long-lasting piece of pottery. Glazing is the art of coloring pottery, you may also join an extra glazing workshop to learn this technique. After that, the final product will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

At the end of the class, you can even take an instant photo with your ceramic foodware as a souvenir to take home right away. You can pick up the finished ceramic at the studio or by cash on delivery via SF Express in 3-4 weeks.

This Experience Voucher is valid for 2 people in a private session.

Additional participants may join at an additional cost of HK$560, up to a maximum of 8 people or 4 people for hand-building products or pottery wheel throwing products respectively.

Availability and Duration

This experience lasts for 2 hours.

Bookings can be made according to Experience Partner’s schedule and subject to availability.

Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.

Once an Experience booking has been confirmed, cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 5 days in advance of the Experience date.
