Come on this Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop for Two and make a beautiful colourful lamp to brighten up your home!
Mosaic lamps have a long history. It originated 5000 years ago in Turkey and traditionally incorporated the colours and motifs of the Ottoman cultures. Turkish artists have delicately handcrafted these lamps since ancient times and the art of Mosaic lamps continues to modern days with a wide variety of designs. With a combination of crystal glass tiles and glass beads on the lamp, different colourful patterns are created.
In this 2-3-hour experience, you will have hands-on experience in making your own Mosaic table lamp. During the experience, you will build your Mosaic table lamp piece by piece using different shaped hand-cut glass and beads of up to 10 colours. If you need inspiration, you can follow the samples provided by the instructor to help design your lamp. Each sample has different patterns and different life blessings and wishes, such as love and health. You can design your Mosaic lamp according to your wish! Alternatively, you can also create your own design using your favourite colours! You can collect your finished product 2 weeks after the experience after it has been specially coated to avoid damage to the glass.
Your instructor is experienced and enthusiastic about sharing Turkish art and culture and will certainly be happy to share more about Turkish art!
After you have finished making your Mosaic table lamp, you can sit down and enjoy a cup of Turkish tea with some cookies. Bring your Mosaic lamp and your blessing home after the experience in 2 weeks’ time!

My 11 year old son and I spent an enjoyable afternoon making lovely Turkish inspired mosaic lamps in a bright, cosy workshop led by knowledgable and patient instructors. It really did take the whole 3 hours but it was time pleasurably spent, including with a lovely sweet treat of a Turkish delight and rose jelly accompanied by some lemon tea at the end. Great for mother/son bonding.
The staffs are very friendly. Me and my friend has a delighted times for that 3 hours.
It is a very nice and colourful place and I went there with my good friend. We are both very poor at art and we think we didn't do too well. But the instructor is supportive and he could give us some advices how to improve. Overall it is a pleasant experience.
I really enjoyed this workshop experience, the tutors were very helpful and it was fascinating to learn about the Turkish culture through this experience. I would definitely recommend my friends to go there again next time!

A wonderful lamp making experience with excellent music and environment
I got to know this from Asia Miles. It's a rare opportunity to experience Turkish culture. It looked quite easy in the beginning, but it was actually quite a challenging task. I felt so satisfied after I completed my work, and I was thrilled when I saw the end product. I can't wait to receive my lamp.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the experience. Not only is the place beautifully decorated, we get to create our own Turkish lamp with colourful mosaics! It has been a fun experience which we would strongly recommend it to our friends!
