Have you found any unwanted denim jeans when decluttering your closet? Perhaps they don’t fit anymore, or the style is out of date, but the denim fabric may still be perfectly fine, it would be such a waste to throw it away! In this 3-hour experience, you will have a chance to upcycle your denim and give it a new life as an apron or a tote bag. To kick off the experience, you will need to bring your very own denim jeans or a long skirt. Denim is a unique material in that it improves with age. The older the denim, the more character it has and the more stylish your product will be. After an introduction to the denim upcycling concept, the instructor will then guide you on the ways to cut, trim and add extra details to your very own product. On top of the basic skills, you will also learn how to hand stitch your denim product, which you will discover is not as hard as it seems!

You can either choose to make an apron or a tote bag with your piece of denim. You can get creative and practical in making your own apron and tote bag by adding patches or other decorative items. You can even personalise your apron or bag to your lifestyle by adding a pocket for your phone, a hoop for your glasses, or even a slot for your paintbrush!

Additional guests may join at an additional cost of $600 per person, up to a maximum of 6 people.

This Experience can be rescheduled once only, no subsequent changes will be allowed once the rescheduled date and time have been confirmed.
