Make your own hammered plate in this Metal Forging Workshop For Two!

Metal forging includes the processes of shaping copper bars into a useful product by hammering. In this 2.5-hour experience, you will be able to hammer a 10cm round-shaped copper coaster on your own. During the experience, you will be introduced to basic forging skills. You will then hammer your own coaster and apply metal-coloring. The metal-coloring allows you to add some simple patterns in gold on the plate. You can also stamp letters or words on the coaster. After you have finished your work, the coaster made can be used as a coaster for your drinks or even a jewelry plate or coin plate. A gift box will be provided for you in case you need to pack it up as a present!

Metal forging is an ancient art that requires patience and dedication, but you may also find it to be a meditative experience bringing you calm in the pressures of modern life.

Your instructors are very experienced artists devoted to metal forging. They will guide you through the experience of hammering and crafting your plate.
