Explore the lives and customs of one of Hong Kong’s few remaining fishing villages in this Private Fisherfolk Island Cycling Experience.

This 3.5-hour bike journey begins at the Central Pier where you will first take the ferry to Cheung Chau island and be treated with a stunning panoramic harbour view of Hong Kong! Upon arrival, your bike will start officially. You will cycle to Sai Wan pier and board a traditional Hong Kong fishing boat called a sampan and immerse in the traditional lives of the fisherfolk living in fishing boats moored in the typhoon shelter. When you arrive back on the island, cycle in and around the narrow backstreets of the island for a glimpse into village life in Hong Kong.

You will also visit one of the oldest temples in Hong Kong - The Pak Tai Temple - to learn about the deep rooted ties between the fishing industry and local folk religion.

This experience is ideal for you and your family and friends to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of exploration!
