Grapple your way through a private Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) personal training session, and advance your fighting skills with 2 group classes chosen from a range of martial arts styles and strength conditioning sessions. 

In this experience, receive personalized one-on-one training from an accomplished instructor with years of competitive BJJ experience.Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a ground-based martial art, which focuses on grappling, ground-fighting and submission techniques. This form of fighting allows for leverage and carefully-executed technique to trump brute force, so that a smaller, weaker person is able to defend against an opponent regardless of their size or strength. Because of this, it is well-regarded as a self defense system. 

With your instructor, you will be introduced to the essential techniques of grappling, including basic grabs, locks and holds. Learn and practice fundamental BJJ positions and principles at the core of the sport, as well as some easy self defense moves that anyone can apply. More experienced practitioners can expect to refine their technical execution with more advanced drills and through sparring, or rolling, with the instructor. 

After the intensive one-on-one session, continue your martial arts practice with 2 group classes. Choose from: Strength & Conditioning, Core Strength, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Karate and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). 


Number of People
This Experience Voucher is valid for up to 2 people.

An additional guest may join the private session at an additional cost of $550, and a regular class at $250. The maximum number is 6 people for the private session.

Availability and Duration
This experience includes 1 hour of private training and 2 regular classes of your choice.

Bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance and are subject to availability.

Experience Location 

Private session: English, Cantonese or Mandarin

Regular classes: English only 

What to Wear
Participants should be dressed comfortably, preferably in T-shirt and shorts.

Suitability Information

  • Participants should be at least 5 years old or above for the private training session.
  • Participants should be at least 18 years old for regular classes, 12-17 for teen classes and 5-11 for kid classes.
