Ever dreamed of being a sailboat captain? Join us on this experience and begin your dream journey traveling around the world by sea. No navigation skills are required, only courage is needed!

In this 3-day experience, you will have an opportunity to learn how to sail a boat of about 6-9m in length under the supervision of a certified instructor from the American Sailing Association. Participants will head off from Aberdeen and learn the basics of sailing in a Beneteau First 21.7 sailboat. In the first part of the course, you will learn about safety in sailing. You will be taught the basic knowledge for sailing and the functions and facilities of the boat will be taught. You will then learn to master wind directions and sea conditions. By the end of the course, you will be able to take charge and enjoy the moment of sailing the boat by yourself in beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities.

Ahoy Captain! This experience will not only offer you a sense of excitement, but also a chance to get away from hectic city life!

This experience lasts for 3 days and can be booked at any time. There will be a half day of sailing theory and 2 full days of practical sail training.

This experience takes place out on the sea and is weather-dependent by nature. The Experience may be postponed or the sailing route altered in the event that the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Red or Black Rainstorm warning, a Thunderstorm warning or a Typhoon signal No. 3 or higher. Suitability information
This experience is suitable for those aged 12 or above and must be able to swim.

Extra information
Participants should bring their own drinks and lunch.
