If you have read all about health and nutrition, this cooking course in Hong Kong will help you put it all into practice. The experience will start with a visit to Kowloon City Wet Market where you will be guided by our Ayurvedic Nutritional Therapist and Holistic Chef Lakshmi Harilela to scope the availability of the produce. You will learn about what's in season and how to pick the best produce for the best prices. Thereafter, venture to the Harilela Mansion to start preparation of the selected healthy, seasonal menu. Learn how to cook with basic techniques that compliment a healthy lifestyle, enhance digestion and strengthen the immune system. Become confident in cooking meals that are not only delicious, but are also healthy with an emphasis on a balanced vegetarian diet. This will not just be a cooking lesson with demonstration, you will also have plenty of hands-on participation. After the cooking course, you can enjoy sampling the food afterwards as well as a grand tour of the Harilela Mansion. You will go home with all the recipes, a certificate of completion and also a goodie bag. |
