Immerse yourself into the world of chocolate in this 3 hour artisan style master class. Led by our Executive Pastry Chef, you will first be given an introduction into chocolate where you will learn everything from cacao bean to bar. Next you will be provided with a chef's hat and a chef's jacket personalized with your name before you roll your sleeves up and head into the kitchen. There, you will be guided through a practical chocolate making class where you will be making your own handmade chocolates. You will pick up techniques such as tempering and moulding chocolate, piping and dipping ganache and even decorating. Finally, appreciate the aroma, appearance, taste and texture of your own chocolate master creations! |

Weather
This experience takes place indoors so is generally not affected by the weather. However, it may be rescheduled in the event of a black rainstorm warning or a typhoon warning signal no. 8 or higher.
What to wear
Anything you feel comfortable in. You will be given a personalized chef's jacket and a chef's hat. It is a strict hygiene policy that hair must be covered in the kitchen at all times.

The minimum age for this experience is 13 years old.
Booking information
Bookings need to be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Once a booking has been confirmed with the experience supplier, you may cancel and reschedule your experience up to 48 hours ahead of the confirmed date, otherwise you will forfeit your voucher. The experience supplier reserves the right to cancel and reschedule confirmed experience dates.

The chef was very good at explaining the chocolate making process and I especially liked the fact she had a blackboard to write things down as an extra reinforcement.
I would have liked to do something more but now appreciate that making chocolates is very time consuming.
However I would suggest is having different fillings to go inside the chocolates, for example nuts, raisins... for some variety instead of making a box full of the same. Everyone loves guessing what is inside each chocolate, that makes it more special ! :)
