Tai Chi, also known as, Tai Chi Chuan, is an ancient Chinese martial art, focused on controlling the flow of energy, or Qi, through the body. One of the many styles of Qigong, Tai Chi combines graceful, fluid movements with breathing and meditation techniques to heal and strengthen the body, both physically and spiritually. Experience this relaxing, low impact exercise in a private class with Tai Chi master, Sifu Joe Lok.
This one hour experience will be led by Tai Chi master, Sifu Joe Lok, an acclaimed 27th direct descendent of the legendary Tai Chi founder and Taoist Zhan Sanfeng, who practiced the art over 1000 years ago. Under his guidance, you and your friends will be introduced to the basic forms of Tai Chi, a series of slow, choreographed sequences, all with specific fighting applications derived from its martial origins. You will learn how to position your arms and feet in each form, as well as how to transition seamlessly from one move to another and breathe evenly with each step.
The benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong are manifold, including enhanced health and energy, reduced stress, improved balance and mental awareness. As you move through the forms, Sifu Lok will explain how the movements and their specific functions bring you closer to achieving these outcomes. This Experience Voucher is valid for up to 5 people in a private session. Additional participants may join at an additional cost of $300 per person.

A travel surcharge may apply for remote areas, such as areas not near the MTR or outside of HK island. Please indicate exact address on the booking form. When choosing a location, we recommend an area that will allow at least 2 m2 of space per person.
If you require an indoor space, we can arrange an indoor venue in Central for a maximum of 8 people. An additional cost of $500 is required.
