Handmade Leather Workshop for Two

Leather craft has been around for centuries, yet even now, nothing conveys modern and chic with more ease than leather. In this 4 hour experience, you will learn the basic techniques of handmade leather working and create a small leather product of your own!

The Leather Workshop Experience
Your instructor will first introduce you to the essential leather craft tools. You will then be guided through the leather working process from start to finish - he will demonstrate how to draft the leather pieces, cut them out precisely, how to stitch the pieces together and finally, how to finish the item with accents.

For this workshop, you may choose to make one of the following five products:

• Card holder
• Coin purse
• Name badge holder
• Earphones bag
• Bracelet

You can customize the colour of the leather and can even personalize it further by embossing your name onto the product. To have a long lasting and elegant effect for your name, the instructor will add a glaze of golden or silver colour on your name using the hot stamping technique.

At the end of the day, you will take home a sleek and polished leather product that you can proudly say was made by your hands alone!

This Experience Voucher is valid for 2 people in a group session.

There may be other people working on their leather goods in the studio.

Additional participants can join at $480 per person, up to a maximum of 12 people.

This Experience lasts for approx. 4 hours.

Bookings can be made in the following time slots:

• Tuesday - Thursday, 13:00 - 21:00 (Last booking timeslot - 18:00)
• Saturday - Sunday, 12:00 - 20:00 (Last booking timeslot - 17:00)

Bookings must be made at least 1 week in advance and are subject to availability.

Aprons will be provided.

All participants must be aged 10 or above.

This Experience is not suitable for pregnant women.

Extra information
This Experience includes:

• All materials required to make your leather good, such as: leather, strings, button and plastic film.
  Your materials depend on your chosen leather good.
• All tools and equipment for cutting, smoothing your leather, stapling, sewing and engraving
• In-depth instructions from a professional leather craftsman
• Hot imprinting of your name on your leather good

If you wish to make other designs, feel free to inquire your instructor on your Experience day. Other designs and styles of leather goods can be made with additional cost which must be paid on spot.

A: No, this experience is for complete beginners. You will not be using sewing machines, but will be taught how to hand stitch with leather in class.
