Learn how to drive a professional Formula racing car in this experience! Whether your goal is to become the next Formula 1 Champion or you’re looking for the sheer pleasure of a good weekend’s racing this experience is for you. Under the guidance of two professional race instructors, this experience offers the most comprehensive motor racing training program utilizing only the most modern cars and equipment. This will be one full day of action and speed!

Course Outline:

  1. Briefing of the Formula Renault 2.0’s electronic dashboard and cockpit controls.
  2. Proper driving position with seat and safety harness fitting.
  3. Stationary gear change exercise (moving up and down the 6-speed sequential gearbox).
  4. Proper braking technique and left foot braking tuition.
  5. Corner tutorials (all major corners tackled).
  6. Proper steering technique, understanding the racing lines.
  7. Multi-lap driving with professional race instructors guiding you.
This is a full-day motorsport experience training you to drive a fully-serviced 2004-production Formula Renault 2000. All instruction, gear, equipment, lunch and refreshments are included. You will also be accommodated for one night at a 5-star hotel nearby to maximize your time on the track. At the end of the experience, we will receive a Certificate of Completion that will entitle you to apply for a racing license.

Number of People
This experience voucher is valid for one person. To ensure maximum level of tuition, class size is limited to a maximum of 2 participants only.

Experience Location
Zhuhai International Circuit, Zhuhai, China
Transport from Hong Kong is convenient. Zhuhai is easily accessible by ferry (1hr10min). Please remember to check your visa requirements for China.

Availability and Duration
This is a full day experience including one night stay at a 5-star hotel in Zhuhai.

You may choose whether you would like to stay in Zhuhai the night before your Experience date or the night of your Experience. We recommend you to stay the night before your experience so you can start early and make the most of your track time. Subject to availability, we will provide accommodation in either the Harbour View Hotel or the Zobon Art Hotel in Zhuhai.

    This experience takes place outdoors. In the event that wet weather conditions render the track unsuitable for driving, this experience will be rescheduled for another suitable date.

    What to wear
    Full race gear will be provided for each Participant, including a helmet, gloves, balaclava, suit and race shoes.

    Suitability information
    No driving experience is necessary. Participants must be above 16 years old.

    Extra information
    Each participant must sign a Declaration of Indemnity before the Experience commences. This experience includes:
    • On-track accidental damage insurance for each participant with total sum insured of RMB50,000 (Policy details will be provided upon booking).
    • One-night accommodation in a 5-star hotel.
    • A Certificate of Completion, which will entitle you to apply for a racing license in the Associação Geral de Automóvel de Macau - China (AAMC) or in the Hong Kong Automobile Association (HKAA).
    • Lunch and refreshments.

The experience was most pleasant, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the team was very professional and friendly, the kit was very clean, Rodolfo and Philippe were both excellent tutors. We love the attention to detail and the nice little touches, i.e., name of driver on car, the photo taking session at the end etc.

We would definitely go back/recommend friends.
