Expressive Art Painting Workshop

This is an art painting workshop tailor made for groups who want to explore their creativity through spontaneous art. The aim of this art workshop is to encourage thinking “outside of the box” where participants are guided to bring out their own creativity to visualize their inner emotions and thoughts and express them on canvases.

In groups of 8-12 people, participants are invited into an artist’s own studio and guided through a journey to learn the expressive style painting. No prior painting experience is necessary. Participants will be guided through:

1) An introduction to equipment, colours and basic techniques

2) Exercises to inspire creativity
The artist instructor will ask them to pick colours they like most and use word excercises to help develop their own creative ideas.

3) Unleash the creativity
Participants will then paint their own ideas out on a canvas and be free to use whatever paints and brushes they want.

4) Discuss and share ideas
The instructor will choose 4 or 5 participants to explain to the whole group what their painting means and the inspirations for their creation.

During the experience, relax, unwind and enjoy a wide range of freshly brewed coffee, Whittard teas and light refreshments. In afternoon sessions, participants will be served with a platter of afternoon tea snacks; In evening sessions participants will be served with a platter of cheese. Make yourself at home in the artist’s studio and be inspired. This workshop is perfect for groups looking to develop their team’s creative contributions, allowing participants to bring out their own creativity through the medium of colours and paints.
