Light Painting Photography Marriage Proposal

Pop your big question in a light painting photo! Surprise your loved one when she reviews the photos on screen! Light Painting is a popular photography technique, which allows you to paint in the air against the backdrop of pitch-black darkness. You can create graffiti and messages without getting caught!

On the date of your marriage proposal, meet your partner at night at a designated venue of your choice. You can choose any darkened outdoor location such as a seaside promenade, a park, a quiet rooftop under the canopy of the stars or any place with significance for you!

Our professional photography artist will give you and your loved one a private class. You will first get a briefing on the light painting theory and photography techniques. Then, you two can create your own light painting creations! You and your partner will be given a variety of glowing objects – torches, glow sticks and you will be taught how to draw beautiful light paintings. The photos will then be instantly displayed on a computer screen.

After several tries and tests, our photographer will ask you two to paint individually, and then it will be time for you to paint your own message! Under our photographer instructions, you will be lead to paint your own proposal message. Surprise your partner with your amazing artwork when you two are reviewing the photos! A bouquet of red roses will be prepared for you to present to your loved one. All the precious moments during the proposal will be captured by a professional photographers.

This experience is valid for two people.

Experience Location
Your location of choice. You can choose any place with significance for you two! Additional charges may apply to remote areas and areas with restricted vehicular access.

Availability and Duration
This experience lasts for 2 hours at night. Bookings are subject to availability and must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Bookings can be made on any day.

Weather
If the experience takes place at outdoor venue, the Experience may be postponed in the event that the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Yellow, Red or Black Rainstorm warning, a Thunderstorm warning or a Typhoon signal No. 3 or higher.

Suitability information
No photography experience is required.

Extra information
We cannot guarantee a successful marriage proposal but all previous proposals thus far have resulted in a ‘Yes!’

Package includes:

• One photographer with camera equipment to take light painting photos
• A variety of light emitting tools (e.g. torches)
• Maximum 100 photos in total
• Soft copies of all the light painting images within 7 working days of the event on a CD
• One grand bouquet of red roses
• One professional photographer will capture the whole experience. All photos taken during by the professional photographer will be sent back to the couple. Over 100 digital files will be enhanced with computer fine tuning and returned by CD within one week.
• Delivery, setup and dismantle.
